Performance and Competition Highlights
1990, 1994, 1998: The Youth Chorale toured Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, with concerts in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Amersfoort, Niewegein, Nijmegen, Maastrict, Brugge, Freiburg, Bonn, Rastatt and Lahr.
2000: The Youth Chorale was awarded Second Place at the prestigious International Youth and Music Festival in Vienna. During this European tour, the choir also performed in Eisenstadt, Geras, Durnberg, Purbach, Ravelsbach and Salzburg.
2001: The Central Training Choir participated in Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa as part of Unisong, an annual national choral festival.
2003: The Youth Chorale returned to Europe for concerts and competitions in places such as Vienna, Salzburg, Schladming and Munich, Germany. Competition in the International Youth and Music Festival rewarded the choir with a Third Place win.
2005: The Chorus completed its sixth European tour, performing at events commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands.

2006: For a second time the Chorus participated in Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa along with choirs from eight other provinces, in the annual national choral festival, Unisong.
In June of 2006, the Chorus learned that Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaelle Jean, C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., Governor General of Canada, accepted the Chorus’ invitation to serve as Patron of the Hastings and Prince Edward Childrens’ Chorus. In her letter of acceptance, Her Excellency conveyed her very best wishes for the Chorus’ continued success.
2007: The Youth Chorale in company of five other choirs performed Vivaldi's Gloria in Carnegie Hall, New York.
2009: The Youth Chorale once more visited Vienna and Salzburg and placed third in the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival.
